This doesn't go out to anyone in particular, but I would be interested to hear everyone's thoughts.

Maybe I'm over sentimental or maybe I'm just stupid and ignorant, but why should pet store animals have to suffer for their breeders' decisions? I know pet store animals still get adopted - they get adopted daily. But what if people were more prone to understanding the breeders who put their pets in places like PetsMart and found that they bred their animals too much, etc - found that they didn't like the way the breeder bred the bird, the cat, the dog, the hamster, etc? I know this would probably cause change - perhaps, the breeder would just go out of business, but what about the animals that are sitting in the pet store waiting to be adopted? What about them? Are they going to just sit in the pet store til they rot? Wait to be adopted until they die? I know people at the pet stores take care of their animals, but even if they don't... The animals wouldn't truly have a home, they wouldn't have the attention they need and deserve. What about them? Why should they suffer for man's stupidity?
